On 1-6 July 2018, the Open Schools for Open Societies (OSOS) Summer School will be organized in Attica, Greece. This event is aimed at teachers and school heads and will support them to enhance their skills with an educative and transformative experience in personal and organisational level through a series of inimitable workshops, best practices and challenges.
In this summer school participants will learn more on how to innovate in their school. For example, OSOS will provide information on evolving a school to an Open Schooling Environment. The summer school offers personal support and helps participants to choose between existing methods and design new methods to improve the curriculum where it is needed.
The OSOS Summer School 2018 is organized by the OSOS Consortium under the coordination of Ellinogermaniki Agogi. Through the wide network of OSOS, consisting of 1000 schools in Europe, best practices and learned lessons are shared, which makes this a unique opportunity to improve a school in a way that lasts and can be expanded. Moreover, within the OSOS framework, it is encouraged to engage the local community of the school to make the school an acknowledged Innovation Hub.
More information about the summer school can be found on the OSOS website, on which you can also register for OSOS summer school 2018.
