Neutron Star Collision
An artist’s created this picture to show two tiny (but very dense) neutron stars colliding and as a kilonova. These very rare event create both gravitational waves and a burst of light called a "short gamma-ray burst". Both of which were seen on 17 August 2017 from the same event, for the very first time!
